My name is Emida Roller and I'm a muralist.              

Mural painting, Movable Murals on canvas, faux finishing, and                                 decorative painting  are my specialties. 

When I was a kid, I'd always wanted to be an artist. I enjoyed watching my Dad, Prof. Solomon I. Wangboje, create his master pieces in his art studio.  He went on to become a renowned African Artist and Art Educator, and  I'm carving out my own niche here in Madison, WI.

My formal training was at the University of Benin, Nigeria in Fine and Applied Arts.   I went on to complete my studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana - Champaign, IL with a Masters of Fine Art (MFA) and a Masters of Arts (MA).

I've worked with both the Madison Area Builders Association Parade of Homes and Waukesha Parade of Homes.  I also work with individual home owners and commercial clients.

Wall Designs by Emida specializes in creating custom work tailored to your style and taste.  One of my goals in painting is to hopefully create what I call the "Wow! Factor" (i.e. when people walk into the room, their first expression is, "Wow!").  Another goal of mine is to create something unique and personal for my customers.  Most people consider this a "qualitative investment" that reaps benefits for years to come, mainly in the enjoyment you derive from it.
